There are common misconceptions with different Hyaluron pens and here i am going to discuss the main ones.

Pens with CE marks are better?

This is not the case by placing the CE marking on a product a manufacturer is declaring, on his sole responsibility, conformity with all of the legal requirements to achieve CE marking.

Not all products must bear the CE marking. Only those product categories subject to specific directives that provide for the CE marking are required to be CE marked.

CE marking applies to products, ranging from electrical equipment to toys and from civil explosives to medical devices however the hyaluron pen is none of these. Despite some companies having a CE mark on their pen it is NOT needed, this just seems to be a way of bumping their pen prices into the hundreds even thousands.

Getting a CE mark on your pen cost money however because its not needed (as it’s not a medical device) some manufacturers don’t see the need to pay money to have this as it bumps up the retail price.

2. A certain colour pen is the best

Again this is not the case, different manufacturers make the same coloured pens but they are all different quality. For example someone might prefer to use the black and gold pen that they purchased for £££ and they might get it from supplier A however you may buy the black and gold pen for ££ from supplier B  and that will be a totally different quality. Just because it looks the same DOES NOT mean it is the same pen with the same quality. If there is money to be made someone will make ‘fakes’ or copies.

3. More expensive pens mean better quality

This is absolutely not true!  People who retail these pens decide how much they want to charge and consumers just assume the something that is more expensive is better quality which is a sales point in itself. I’m not saying that every cheap pen is good, however it’s best to ask advice from someone who has purchased a pen and then buy it from the same seller. There is no reason to pay hundreds or even thousands of pounds for a pen
